James Morgan is a senior analyst based in Annapolis and has 3 years of advisory experience assisting financial institutions, payment firms, fintechs, and investors with commercial due diligence, payment monetization, target operating model design, market research, and strategic development. 

Prior to joining Flagship, James worked as a consultant at West Monroe Partners in the financial services industry, primarily engaging with banks and credit unions on various strategic, operational, and M&A initiatives. Projects included leading multiple workstreams in a top ten bank integration, assessing a bank’s commercial card offering and go-to-market strategy, and conducting a carve-out assessment of a private equity firm’s target financial institution. 

James received his bachelor’s degree in economics at the University of Michigan in May 2020.
