Dan is a senior payments expert based in London with over 6 years of strategy consulting and M&A advisory experience in payments and fintech.

Dan has experience working across the payments value chain advising European and global clients on payments strategy development, growth strategy, new market entry, product development, M&A and partnership formation. He has established expertise in merchant acceptance, digital payments, and open banking with specific experience in the fintech ecosystem and associated market disruptions.

Since joining Flagship, Dan has developed an international expansion strategy for a leading UK payments fintech, identified investment opportunities across selected European payments verticals for a global private equity firm, and has provided buy and sell-side commercial due diligence on multiple payments transactions. 

Prior to joining Flagship, Dan was a member of Accenture’s Global Banking Strategy practice, where he led and delivered strategy engagements for retail and commercial banks, acquirers, card schemes, fintechs and software companies across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Latin America. 

Dan holds a joint bachelor's degree (with Honors) in Business and Economics from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland).
